Description of Loss:
A foreclosed unit on the 11 floor had a pipe break which flooded all the levels down to the basement of the high rise.  Concraft performed immediate water mitigation and repaired the damaged units and common hallways. Approximately 20, 000 sq. ft. of the building was affected and the total loss amount was $42,045.51.

Loss Type: Water damage due to fire suppression head

Description of Loss:
Fire suppression head was damaged flooding; the Art and Crafts classroom, adjoining storage rooms, and common hallway. The mitigation team secured the scene to prevent unauthorized entry to the work areas, posted warning signs, eliminated slip and fall hazards due to wet VTC flooring and overhead hazards from wet sagging/falling acoustical ceiling tiles. Mitigation team worked closely with the class room staff to secure and preserve contents such as art work, class room projects, crafts and other irreplaceable items. All salvageable contents were cleaned and boxed. Unsalvageable contents were inventoried and disposed of upon approval. Due to suspected category 3 water and amount of silt containment all salvable contents and structure had to be thoroughly cleaned and treated with sanitizer. All water was extracted, flooring machine scrubbed area and sanitizers were applied. Necessary drying equipment was set up and drying progress monitored until completion.

Total cost of emergency services was $5,851.71.

Description of Loss:
Concraft received a call from a Farm Bureau Agent concerned about his client who suffered a severe property damage loss. Wind blew off portion of roof during a bad storm. Water and building debris entered the building causing significant water damage and structural damage. Great sensitivity was given to this site as it contained 30,000 snakes. The structural team at Concraft secured the roof within an hour and the water mitigation followed behind to begin the water mitigation to the interior of the building. Once the building was secured and the structure saved, a Concraft estimator met with the insurance adjuster to decide an agreed scope of repair and cost. The building was restored to its original condition and business was back to normal. The total cost of loss was $88,436.86.

Description of Loss:
A tornado blew through Macomb County damaging many homes and businesses. Concraft received a call from an Auto Owners Insurance Agent frantic about a claim his premier client was experiencing. The severe wind blew off a 10,000 sq. ft. of a flat metal roof at Mr. Bleau’s building causing electrical, heating/cooling, water, and structural damage. The Concraft team was at the scene in 45 minutes coordinating the repair effort and prevented further damage. Concraft was able to temporarily repair the roof so tenants could continue business. The building repairs included replacement of the roof, mechanicals, flooring, drywall, and paint. Total cost of loss was $83,341.88.

Description of Loss:
A co-owner came home from a long day of work and went to bed. A few minutes later he was woken up by his neighbor because his pickup-truck was on fire. The fire extended to the condominium structure causing a severe fire and damaging 4 units. Of the units damaged 2 units required roof trusses to be replaced. Concraft was called by the CAU Insurance agent asking for help in this matter. The Concraft team was on scene within an hour securing the building, meeting with board members, and co-owners. Concraft representatives educated the members on their responsibility for repairs, the insurance process, and rebuilt all 4 units to their original specifications. The total cost of loss was $218,838.29.

An electrical issue caused a massive fire damaging 8 condominiums approximately 1200 sq. ft. each. Four adjoining units had to be cleaned and painted.
